Meet the publishing team members that developed and produced Amaranthine: An Anthology.

Sienna Bostwick, Krysta Belcourt, and Tariq Singh oversaw the Amaranthine Publishing Team diligently and ensured all behind-the-scenes work progressed smoothly to completion.

Managing Director

Sienna Bostwick

Sienna Bostwick (they/them) is an ambitious editor and the Managing Director of the anthology. They spend their time playing video games, enjoying fiction, cooking, and listening to music. They hope one day to obtain a master’s degree. When not working on the anthology, they spend their time thinking about their cats at home in sunny California. See their professional work here.

Management

Krysta Belcourt

Krysta Belcourt (she/her) is an editor and avid bibliophile. She currently resides in Muskoka, living the small-town, cottage country life with her husband, son, and bearded dragon. She recently graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing & Publishing program at Sheridan College in Mississauga.

Management

Tariq Singh

Tariq Singh (he/him) is a versatile editor with experience in many fields. He's worked as a programmer, web and game designer, marketing and a manager in past projects. He enjoys video games, movies and books. He spends his remaining time enjoying life and building vast stories.

Olivia Costa, Kevin MacDonald, Angela Paletta, Michelle Hiller, and Zohra Zekria all reviewed and edited the various elements of this capstone project.

Olivia Costa

Olivia Costa (she/her) is an editor, musician, and avid reader of all things fantasy. She is a recent graduate of Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing & Publishing program. When Olivia’s not reading, she can be found playing her flute or cuddling with her dog, Charlie.

Kevin MacDonald

Kevin MacDonald (he/him) is an editor and writer whose work has been featured in Flash Fiction Magazine and Savant Garde. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Creative Writing & Publishing program, when he’s not reading or talking about books on his bookstagram page (@kevinsreadfeed), he’s writing and going on walks with his dog Lucy. He currently resides in the Greater Toronto Area.

Angela Paletta

Angela Paletta (she/her) is an editor and a recent graduate of an Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing and Publishing from Sheridan College. She also is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts from UofT where she majored in History of Religion. She enjoys reading, writing, and cuddling with her cat, Smoke. She now works as an editorial assistant for Plumleaf Press.

Michelle Hiller

Michelle Hiller (she/her) is an editor and writer who has recently graduated from Sheridan College in the Creative Writing & Publishing program. She lives in Mississauga with her family and spends most of her time writing, sewing and reading to pass the time. Michelle mainly enjoys reading/writing fantasy, romance and history books and has a bookshelf stuffed with them to prove it.

Zohra Zekria

Zohra Zekria (she/her) is a part of the editorial team and a graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Creative Writing and Publishing program at Sheridan College. She enjoys writing creatively and hopes to expand her writing abilities as she is now entering the workforce.

Promotion Lead

Lily Wang

Lily Wang (she/her) has been spending these weird off-kilter pandemic times listening to lots of podcasts, usually, true crime or science-based, reading a lot of webcomics and scrolling through her social media feed. Being bilingual she also has been reading lots of Chinese Internet novels that have been translated to English and while reading those novels, she gets back in touch with her culture which colours her world in numerous small ways every day. She would like to think in another life, she would’ve been a translator, but in this life, she has recently obtained a BA in Creative Writing & Publishing.

Ash Wallace

Ash Wallace (they/she) is a recent graduate of Sheridan College’s CW&P program. As part of their internship, in the summer of 2021, they co-founded The Storyteller’s Tavern, a table-top roleplaying game website and podcast, with some of their friends, resulting in a business that is flourishing. In their spare time, they enjoy recording their Star Wars podcasts, playing TTRPGs, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, reading comics and novels, listening to audiodramas, building LEGO, and watching their favourite things, which mostly fall under the category of Star Wars. You can find them causing chaos online here.

Shelby Forma

Shelby Forma (she/her) is a writer and creator from Mississauga, Ontario. In April 2022, she earned an Honours BA in Creative Writing and Publishing from Sheridan College. In 2021, she collaborated with Sheridan associates and students to form and publish a children’s book called A Glitch in the Garden. She writes prose and poetry, enjoys editing, and loves to read and draw.

ART & DESIGN

Zhizi (Zana) Yan organized the page layout and conceptualized original artwork for the cover of Amaranthine: An Anthology.
